Fleets

Operated aircraft are grouped by aircraft fleet. Fleets are mainly used by the Activity module to calculate fleet statistics. The notion of grouping by fleet is close to a notion of grouping by aircraft type but it is not exactly the same. For example, you may operate several Airbus A330-300, some of them being dry leased and the others being operated under a wet lease agreement. In this case, it make sense to separate the statistics between these two groups and to set two different fleets. Similarly, you may decide to analyze all A319/A320/A321 as one fleet, or as independent fleets.
