GSE – Ground Service Equipments

AMS includes the task and nomenclature categories to manage GSE equipments while keeping a segregation between aviation related components / tasks and non-aviation works (GSE is considered as a non-aviation process in the sense of Part 145)

GSE Maintenance is scheduled, prepared, ordered and recorded using the same procedures as for aircraft related works to the exception of the following:

- GSE materials shall be identified as GSE (after receiving a GSE equipment into your stock, update the nomenclature ( Nomenclature )  to show "GSE" as type of P/N

- GSE Tasks of your GSE Maintenance Programme, shall be of the type "GSE_TASK" (or another GSE specific task) in the M.Requirements module

- To quickly produce your GSE task due list, do not forget to remove the default "Installed Components" criteria from the Maintenance Works (MW) module (GSE are not installed components)
