3.5: Data processing / data modification

AMS Client works on a local cached data from your central database. This technology offers a wide range of advantages:

 

- Working on a local copy of your data is extremely quick (only data are transported over the network but no graphic or other heavy objects) 

- When your data needs to be refreshed, only the modified data are sent over the network

- You can work on your local data without modifying the central database before you post your changes to the server. 

 

This behavior is materialized in AMS Client by two buttons that you will find in every modules:

by pressing this button, you post your modifications to the server and the central database will be modified (if the modification are accepted by the server).

by pressing this button, you choose to cancel your last changes and to revert to the original data.

by pressing this button, your data will be refreshed to reflect the last changes that other users may have posted to the AMS server.
