This main window gives access to the general settings and the internal messaging service:

 

 

The messaging service can be used to

- send and receive messages from/to other AMS users

- subscribe to the alert services and receive notification messages

 

Notification messages are sent by email if the Manager has been setup (refer to the Installation Manual) to send email notifications and the email addresses are defined for each user in Security / Users

 

To subscribe to an alert service, click on the My subcriptions ... button and check the desired alerts to be received

 

 

The notifications which can be selected using the above menu (Notification Services) are not the only notifications you will receive from the system. Other notifications (not selectable) will be sent when specific event occurs:

 

•"Contracts renewal or review" (procedure 6801): A notification is sent to process owners, and individuals having management delegation of the concerned department, 60 days prior to the contract expiry date or 60 days prior to the contract renewal date. If the contract continues to be due for renewal or for review, a notification is sent every 7 days.
