OEM Modifications are tracked under the associated MR type (SB / Publication - which can be subdivided into categories SL / SIL / MOM / Retrofit Bulletin as applicable to the aircraft type) in the M.Requirements module. Optional and Mandatory modifications are segregated using the Optional / Mandatory field and, when applicable, the compliance category is recorded in the description of the task.

When creating the MR for a modification, it is important to specify the aircraft type and the serial number of the aircraft (fields "From MSN" & "To MSN") in the effectivity section.

The WO ( Maintenance Works (MW) ) issued from AMS include a field for the contracted MRO to acknowledge receipt of a modification request

 

Non-OEM modifications are tracked under a specific MR type (named "MAS" for "Modification Approval Sheet" by default and can be customized).

 

The assessment of optional modifications, and the associated risk assessment, is recorded using the MR Assessment functionality
