The Quick Snag is used enter the technical log sequences "on the fly".

UPPER AREA : ORIGIN
If the complaint (PIREPS) or the requested work (MAREPS) relates to a defect already open on the concerned aircraft, then this item is open is the upper list WOs. The link with this "origin" must be specified by dragging and dropping this WO (a row of the upper grid) to the ORIGIN WO field.
If the log book entry concern a new complaint / work then this area must be ignored and the field ORIGIN WO left blank.
CENTRAL AREA: WORKS
This is complaint / requested work itself.
- Title: Title of the entry (if not filed, the field will be automatically set to the first words of the Requested Work/ Complaint field)
- Type: Type of the WO. Can be any type set as corrective maintenance (usually WO / HIL A / HIL B / HIL C / HIL D / CABIN). If the type is set to HIL B/C/D, the deferral information are automatically filled.
- ATA: concerned ATA chapter
- PIREPS / MAREPS: Pilot Reports/ Maintenance Reports
- COM IMPACT: defines if the defect has a commercial impact (if set to COM IMPACT, the aircraft operational situation will be updated accordingly)
- OPS IMPACT: defines if the defect has a commercial impact (if set to OPS IMPACT, the aircraft operational situation will be updated accordingly)
- Requested work/ Complaint: Requested work (MAREPS)/ Complaint (MAREPS) as written on the technical log book.
- Action: Action performed as written on the technical log book.
- C/W: if the action specified in the previous cell is terminative, then this box must be checked (otherwise unchecked)
- TRIG/ENGINEER CODE: Code of the engineer signing the CRS
- Internal: If the engineer signing the CRS is employed by the organization, this check box must be checked (unchecked otherwise). If the box is checked, the code entered in cell TRIG must match an engineer code in Human Resources / Ground personnel list.
- Date: Date when this action was signed off. This field is automatically set to the block arrival time of the concerned leg and can be adjusted.
- Place ICAO or IATA code of the airport (automatically set to the arrival airport)
LOWER AREA: DEFERRAL
If the box C/W of the central area was unchecked, the work has been deferred. Use this area to specify the deferral limits (next due hour / cycle / date and time)
