6.6.7: Plan maintenance and prepare a work-package

This section is a step-by-step procedure on how to forecast maintenance tasks and prepare a work-package to acquit these tasks:

 

1/ Consult the task due list of the concerned aircraft ( Task Due List )

All tasks are displayed chronologically (by default)

To acquit a limited number of tasks which can be performed while the aircraft is in operation (line maintenance tasks), simply launch the WOs without using a work-package ( Launch a WO )

 

2/ To prepare the next maintenance visit, create a new Work-Package ( Create a new WP) and add the WO ( Add & remove WO to a WP ) from the Task Due List until the task due list only contains the WO to be performed during Line Maintenance Operations, and WOs to be performed during a later maintenance visit.

 

3/ Print the Work-Package ( Print a Work-Pack ) and communicate this WP to the Part145 organization
